Guide to crossing the threshold |
¡¡¡¡The reasoning method of lius figure is very easy, it contains about
five links: the first is finding the starting day of the figure¡¯ application
that year; the second is finding the number of days in February in
Gregorian calendar that year; the third is calculating the number
of days form the starting day of application that year to the day
of actual application; the fourth is checking the table of application¡¯
the fifth is contrasting the outline of the judgment to judge luck
or evil in line with the number. In order to help readers to learn
and use it, we introduce these five links one by one.
¡¡¡¡¡¡(1) The method of finding a year¡¯s starting day. It¡¯s a fixed form.
There are starting times in different ages and years (see also the
following table)
¡¡¡¡The table for checking the starting day in a year£º
¡¡¡¡For example: the age of 1932 is the odd, its last number is 2, then
January 4th is just the starting day that year. While consulting the
applied table, we take January 4th as ¡°0001¡±, the first day of 1932.
¡¡¡¡Another example: the age of 2086 is even it¡¯s last number is 6,
then January fifth is just the starting day that year, while consulting
the table of application, we take January 5th as ¡°0111¡± the first
day of 2086. The rest may be deduced by analogy.
¡¡¡¡¡¡(2). Find the number of days of February in Gregorian calendar
¡¡¡¡This is a regulation: (A) the age is even, if the last number is
4, 8, or 0, then there are 29 days in February, and the rest months
have 28 days. (B) The age is odd, if the last number is 2 or 6, then
there are 29 days in February, and the rest months have 28 days.
¡¡¡¡For example: the year of 1844, 1928, 2020, 1064, 2848, 2860, there
ages are even, the last numbers of these ages are 4, 8, 6 respectively,
then there are 29 days in Februaries of these years; The years of
1845, 1929, 2065, 2849, although they are adjacent to the above years,
all of there ages are even, there are 28 days in February of these
years, because the last numbers if their ages are not 4, 8, or 0.
¡¡¡¡For another example: the ages of 1852, 1936 are odd, and the last
number is 2, 6 respectively, then, there are 29 days in February of
these years. The years of 1853 and 1937 are adjacent to the above,
and their ages are odd, but the last numbers of their age are not
2 or 6, so there are 28 days in February.
¡¡¡¡(3). Calculate the number of days from the starting to the actual
applied day that year.
Such as the calculation of April 2ed, 1955, the age is odd, the last
number is 5, then we get the starting day: January 3rd, and 28 days
in February. Its calculation process as follows:
(32-2) adds 28 adds 31 adds 2 equal 90 days
January February March April
While applying, we consult the table of ¡°0090¡±.
